COPY-Two people held in case of dead pregnant woman have court appearances

Associated Press - June 25, 2007 3:43 AM ET

CANTON, Ohio (AP) - Two court appearances are scheduled today in the case of a pregnant woman whose body was discovered in an Ohio park.

Bobby Cutts Junior will be arraigned on charges of murdering his girlfriend, Jessie Davis, and her fetus. 1 of Cutts' former classmates, Myisha Ferrell, faces an obstruction of justice charge.

Authorities searched Ferrell's apartment Saturday and arrested her yesterday, but haven't provided any details, saying that making that information public would hurt their case. A neighbor says authorities seized bottles of bleach and other items during a two-hour search.

Cutts is a Canton police officer who was arrested Saturday, the same day Davis' body was found, still carrying her dead, nearly full-term fetus.

She had been reported missing June 15th.
