Prosecutors say wife killed husband for breast implants

A woman convicted of murdering her Marine husband will appear for sentencing October 23.

Prosecutors say Cynthia Sommer from Wellington killed her husband with arsenic and used his military death benefit to pay for breast implants and a party lifestyle.

Sommer faces an automatic sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

A jury found her guilty of first degree murder in January. Her attorney asked for a new trial.
