A murder suspect is now in jail - charged with murdering a woman and setting her body on fire outside a local church.
Detectives say the victim, 24-year-old Katie Ann Brunelle, and the suspect, 30-year-old John Liebro, worked at the same Denny's in Hollywood and used to date.
Police believe the two were arguing in Liebro's car when he snapped and strangled her and got rid of her body in a dark church parking lot in Royal Palm Beach.
Detective Jennifer DeGidio, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, says, "There was no significance; it was just an area where the parking lot was dark. He had cover because there were no lights in the parking lot, and it was very easy for him to go into the southern portion of the parking lot and hide her."
Detectives have Liebro's cell phone records that place him in Palm Beach County around the time Brunelle's body was found.
