One commissioner is planning to step up at a public meeting Monday in West Palm Beach to discuss her problems with critical city decisions.
West Palm Beach City Commissioner Molly Douglas says commissioners are not getting the right advice before making critical decisions on issues that effect all of us.
Douglas and others voted in favor of a controversial ordinance about feeding the homeless after being assured they wouldn't get sued. Now, the ordinance is being challenged in court with a lawsuit.
She's also furious about six months of work by a task force - who are looking into the building services department - is going no where. She claims a builder can wait up to six months for a permit these days, and she says its scaring away developers.
That workshop gets underway Monday morning, and fireworks are expected to fly.
