Bochicchio family lawyer talks to Fox 29

We're hearing from the lawyer of the Bochicchio family one day after learning they're suing the Boca Town Center Mall.

Lawyers for the Bochicchio Estate claim there wasn't adequate security at the Town Center Mall the day Nancy and her 7-year-old daughter, Joey, were found shot to death.

David Shiner says, "We believe, based on a preliminary investigation, they have the a duty to protect their patrons such as the Bochicchio's. They need to be held responsible if it is found they were not responsible in making sure their patrons are protected."

Simon Properties, which owns the mall, won't comment on pending litigation. But mall managers did announce last week they are increasing surveillance and expanding a police sub-station.
