Vince Neil brings business to Clematis Street

He's toured the world, sold more than 40 million albums, and his next venture? Clematis Street. That's where Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil turned up last night, bringing out hundreds to the VIP opening of his new bar and grill, "Dr. Feelgoods."

At one point the crowd was spilling out onto Clematis Street and police had to shut down the road to traffic.  The past few years have seen some shuttered stores on the downtown strip, and business owners say this is just what the doctor ordered to help boost a resurging crowd on Clematis.

"West Palm Beach is an up and coming city," the club's co-owner Cleve Mash said. "You know, we're not Miami, we're not LA, but something like this is big."

Neil performed some 80's hits last night, and if you missed out, he's also performing in a free concert Saturday night in West Palm Beach.  Parts of the road will be shut down to accommodate the crowd.
