Teen dies after flipping car into lake

A car veers off the road and ends up in a lake killing a teenage driver. It happened right in front of La Palais in Boynton Beach.

Investigators say the Luciano Ramallo's car may have been underwater for hours before anyone realized the crash occurred.

An off duty Palm Beach County sheriff's deputy, who just happened to be in the area, discovered parts of the car. That's when he realized what happened.

Shortly after, firefighters, deputies and scuba divers swarmed the area. But it was too late to save the driver of the car.

One neighbor says, "I can't believe it. He must have been going pretty fast to be able to flip over in a 12 foot canal."

Investigators want to know if a medical condition, fatigue, drugs or alcohol played a role in this deadly crash.
