The NAB and electronics manufacturers brought digital TV to three U-S cities earlier this year to raise awareness about the product. Local broadcasters promoted digital TV, manufacturers placed sets in high traffic areas, and there were watch parties. Orlando says these promotions gave consumers a chance to see digital television.
