No presidential primary redo for Floridians

There will not be a redo of the presidential primary in Florida. State Democrats announced their decision Monday.

There were just too many concerns about a mail-in primary. The state party considered the idea because the Democratic National Committee is refusing to award delegates based on Florida's January 29 primary.

The Florida Democratic Party says it asked for your input, and, they say, "We spent the weekend reviewing your messages, and while your reasons vary widely, the consensus is clear: Florida doesn't want to vote again. So, we won't."

A re-vote would have most likely favored Hillary Clinton since she won the Florida primary. On Monday night, her campaign says Florida voters should not be disenfranchised.
