Wellington accused of preying on teen

A Wellington woman is accused of preying on a boy half her age - buying him things in exchange for sex.

Deputies say 31-year-old Jill Goldsmith was buying a 15-year-old boy alcohol, drugs and cigarettes in exchange for sex. They say it happened at least five times with that boy, and she may have had sex with two other teenage boys in her Wellington home. But they don't want to cooperate.

Investigators say Goldsmith harbored teenage runaways in her home, allowing them to stay there and provided them with drugs and alcohol.

"She's a predator, and she's a pedophile, and she's taking advantage of children who don't have the emotional maturity to make these types of sexual decisions," says Captain Greg Richter with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say Goldsmith met the 15-year-old boy at the dry cleaner in Wellington where she worked.
