Update: An Amber Alert for two young South Florida girls has been canceled.

Authorities say 3-year-old Vanessa Rivas and 7-year-old Frida Gonzalez have been found safe in Hialeah Gardens. Both girls were reported missing from Homestead, about 30 miles away, early Monday.

A Homestead police spokesman says officers are on their way to pick up the girls and take a suspect into custody. No additional information was immediately available.

Previously: An Amber Alert is issued for these two children. Homestead Police say 3-year-old Vanessa Rivas and 6-year-old Frida Gonzalez may be with a Hispanic male, possibly named Juan.

He's approximately 50 years old, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds with salt & pepper hair.

Vanessa Rivas was last seen wearing a tan jacket with a hoodie, pink pants and pinks shoes. Frida Gonzalez was wearing a white and red shirt, a red skirt and black sandals.

If you have any information, call police.
