Deputy dives into Intracoastal to rescue teen after crash

A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after being ejected from a vehicle crash into the Intracoastal Waterway in Broward County.

Authorities say the pickup truck the girl was riding in early yesterday rolled over on a bridge. The impact reportedly took out a large chunk of concrete from the bridge.

The crash jettisoned the girl into the water. A Broward Sheriff's deputy dove into the water and held up the teen's head until paramedics arrived.
