Pigs, dogs rescued from Loxahatchee home

An earless pig and neglected dogs were all found at a local home, and the homeowner is a repeat offender.

Animal control officials took ten dogs and three wild pigs from the Loxahatchee home of Zackery Enfonte Tuesday. One pig had no ears. Authorities believe the dogs may have repeatedly nipped at them.

Officials have taken animals from Enfonte before. They say he just doesn't take care of his pets. "You would think it's common sense to give an animal clean water, a clean place to lay down. But that's why we have laws in place to make people do what apparently is not common sense anymore," says Capt. Dave Walesky.

Authorities say the dogs have no water and were living in feces. Enfonte faces animal cruelty charges.
