Deadly twister tears through Boy Scout camp

Four people were killed, 40 others hurt when a tornado roared through a Boy Scout camp in Western Iowa Wednesday night.

Witnesses are saying the twister seemed to come out of nowhere.  In all, there were 93 campers and 25 staff members at the camp. The dead and injured were apparently on a hike when tragedy struck.

Most the camp is now destroyed. Tents, buildings, and trees are scattered throughout the area.  The extreme weather remains dangerous in not only Iowa, but in much of the Midwest as well.

Along with the Iowa tornado, twisters also touched down on Wednesday in Southern Minnesota and Eastern Nebraska.
