RIVIERA BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A developing story out of Riviera Beach. Police are searching for two or three men who used a pickup truck to slam into a business to swipe an ATM.

Police are now on the scene; the crooks still on the run.

We've seen this before: People trying to rope an ATM and take it with them. That is the case on Singer Island Monday morning. Two to three men are suspected of trying to take an ATM. It happened around 3 a.m. Monday morning.

According to the owner, the ATM is actually bolted down to the ground which is why they weren't able to move it out of the store. He says there was a Dodge pickup truck and a Lexus was involved.

In the surveillance video, you see two of the suspected thieves going into the store. All of this happening as a passerby drove by Blue Heron and called 9-1-1.

One or two of the suspects inside the pickup truck bailed out of the truck in the area of Avenue O.

One witness describes what he saw. "Slowed down, we almost stopped over here - when we saw what was happening, when we realized what was happening - and we just got on the phone and circled back around. We didn't know what they were packing."

That 9-1-1 call may have very well spooked the teens and had them run from police. Now, they are on the loose. A perimeter was set up, but police were unable to catch any of the suspected thieves.

The surveillance video showed at least two of the thieves wore black caps and are described as black males.

If you have any information about where they are call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477). You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
