OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) - Tropical Storm Hanna continues to move up the Atlantic coast. Forecasters say it's moved into Virginia, on a course toward New England.
Top winds are still near 50 miles an hour.
The storm is expected to bring 4 to 6 inches of rain from central North Carolina through the eastern mid-Atlantic states and into southern New England. The rain could bring flash flooding in some areas.
There are no reports of deaths or injuries in the U.S. from Hanna, which earlier was blamed for disastrous flooding and more than 100 deaths in Haiti.
By midday, almost 100,000 homes and businesses along the East Coast were without power.
