BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - Boca Raton police have identified three men found dead inside a South Florida home.

Updated: TUE 6:15 AM: A police spokeswoman says officers were called to the house Sunday by a man who said he couldn't reach his friend. The caller went to the home, heard a noise in the garage and felt heat coming out.

The body of 57-year-old Louis Lepore was found in a running car in the garage. The two other victims, 25-year-old Derek Smith and 46-year-old Howard Wilkinson, were discovered in rooms inside the home. Authorities say the car was running and there were high levels of carbon monoxide throughout the house.

Authorities say there was no sign of forced entry and no obvious sign of foul play.

Previously: Boca Raton Police are trying to determine how three men died at a home at 883 Northwest 6th Terrace.

A friend stopped by the home Sunday afternoon after not hearing from one of the men in a couple of days. The friend heard a noise and felt heat coming from the garage, so he called police.

Authorities on the scene found a car running in the garage and the driver dead. They also discovered two men dead inside the home.

"I pretty much heard, like, a faded horn inside the garage," said neighbor Lucas Shagas. "It was kind of weird, but [my neighbor] was a carpenter / painter, so I thought maybe he was building something, cutting something. I didn't think anything of it."

Police say it is too early to determine if the deaths were accidental or the result of a murder-suicide. There are no obvious signs of foul play.

Investigators have not publicly released the names of the victims.
