BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) - One carjacking suspect's in custody, and others still on the loose. This carjacking happened in Delray Beach, and ended with stop sticks in Boca Raton.

It started at about probably 3 a.m. Monday when there was a carjacking, according to police, in Delray Beach. There were dozens of police officers, K9 units, a chopper and stop sticks.

The suspects came into Boca Raton, and that's where Boca Raton police got involved. They put the stop sticks down, a red mustang was stopped on the corner of Palmetto Park and Military Trail.

The first suspect, Boca Raton police say, they caught immediately. The second suspect ran into these woods, and that's what took them so long. "Boca Raton officers were able to put out stop sticks, and the vehicle wound up here at Palmetto and Military. The suspects bailed out of the vehicle. They caught one immediately, and they are still looking for the second," informed an officer.

We'll bring you updates as we receive them. But, for the most part, things in the area back to normal.
