BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Boynton Beach Police are now saying the software executive found stabbed to death in the back of her car probably knew her attacker.

Police say they are looking at several people as "persons of interest" in the murder of Jessica Kalish. She was found stabbed to death inside her BMW last week.

The next day, Kalish's partner, Carol Burger likely committed suicide in their backyard.

Stephanie Slater, Boyton Beach Police, informed, "We are investigating Jessica's death as a homicide. We are investigating Carol's death as a suicide."

Reporter: "Is it a murder-suicide?"

Slater: "It is a possibility. There are many possibilities, and detectives are looking at this from every possible angle."

Reporter: "And you have several suspects?"

Slater: "We have several persons of interest, yes."

Cops say this was not a random act of violence or a robbery.

Burger and Kalish were married in Massachusetts. They recently broke up but were still living together.
