WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Parts of two major Palm Beach County roads and a suburban West Palm Beach neighborhood are back open Wednesday morning after being shut down as police searched for four suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery.

Someone reported being robbed by four armed men near the intersection of Wellington Trace and Fawnwood Place in Wellington just before 1 a.m. said Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbara. The men took off, and authorities believed they bailed out in the Casa Del Monte trailer park in suburban West Palm Beach.

Authorities locked down the neighborhood near Forest Hill Boulevard and Jog Road as they searched for the suspects. A police helicopter circled overhead for hours.

"Seems to be happening a little more regularly than normal, so [I] don't know what to say about that," said Jeremy McMillen, who lives in the area. "I guess the situation, with the economics the way they are, people are trying to get money however they can."

McMillen was trying to drop a friend off at the trailer park, but was kept across the street by authorities.

"The first time, [the sheriff's deputy] was pretty polite. The second time he actually pulled out his gun and was, you know, like, 'get out of here. I'll let you know when you can come back in.' So we're sitting here waiting to get let back in," McMillen said.

Deputies nabbed three of the four men. The trailer park lockdown was lifted around 4:30 am.

Robbery detectives will now interview the men to try and figure out if they also robbed a CVS pharmacy earlier in the night. Barbara said the men may match a description of the pharmacy robbery suspects.
