ST. JOHNS, Ariz. (AP) - Another hearing is scheduled today for the 8-year-old Arizona boy charged with shooting to death his father and another man.
Police in St. Johns, Arizona, released an hour-long video yesterday in which the boy eventually admits shooting each man at least twice two weeks ago, reloading the gun at times.
A defense lawyer thinks prosecutors will have a tough time getting the video admitted as evidence because he thinks police overreached during questioning. The boy did not have a lawyer or family member present at the time.
During the interview, the boy's accounts of the shootings change from him never having touched a gun, to admitting firing at least two shots at each man.
