Airline Outlook - More Cutbacks

(WFLX) - The outlook doesn't look good for passengers who plan to fly the world's largest carrier next year. There will be more cuts in flights, and further job losses for at least one major air carrier.

In a memo to employees, Delta executives say they will reduce overall capacity another six to eight percent next year, including up to 10 percent of U.S. capacity. They also say their analysis will include the impact of further job reductions.

Both American and Southwest Airlines say they'll expect to cut capacity on domestic flights as well.
