BOYNTON BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Circuit City in the United States is going out of business and passing on the savings to you. Everything must go. The time frame: a little more than 2 months.

A day to go shopping. "We got "School of Rock" and "Dumb and Dumber," says 12 year-old Jared Greenberg.

Since Circuit City filed for bankruptcy and all 567 stores are closing. All assets inside are being liquidated. So, shoppers like Jared are hunting for steals.

Lee Morgan needs a new T.V., "I want a T.V for $4 dollars. Basically, I want a T.V for $4 dollars." He was looking forward to getting a good deal inside, but found out many items were only discounted 10%, "For a place that is going out of business, that is a little expensive."

Other shoppers had big dreams, "HD T.V., computer, stuff like that." But chose to browse instead of buy. One shopper says, "I'm just coming to see what they got in case everything is picked over."

It's unknown whether prices will go below the 10%. You'll just have to wait. The sale is expected to last through March.

As for Jared, he's just glad he got what he wanted and saved $20 dollars, "Four movies, two CD's and headphones."

Some things to remember: Circuit City stores will still accept their gift cards through the liquidation. If you have extended warranties on any items, those will still be honored by a third party. Remember, all sales are final.

Circuit City says, "We deeply regret the impact this decision will have on our associates, our customers and the communities where we have operated, stores and other facilities."

Right now, the 34,000 employees will receive 60 day termination notices. Some employees are staying on to help with the liquidation.
