Lights on! Power restored for 3,000 WPB residents

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - A power outage Thursday morning left more than 4,300 WPB residents in the dark.

Update, THU 11 AM: Power has been restored in West Palm Beach. Two transformers went down around 10 a.m.

For awhile, more than 4,300 businesses and people are without power. The outages even caused the police dept and courthouse to be without power.

Previously: Reports are coming into the Fox 29 newsroom that there is a wide-spread power outage in West Palm Beach, especially in the area of Clematis.

More than 3,000 people are without power. FPL doesn't know why the power is out, but they have crews on the way to fix the problem.

The police dept and courthouse are also without power. Stay tuned to wflx.com for updated information.
