Cruise Bogle fundraiser

It happened in an instant. 19-year-old Cruise Bogle was home from college on winter break. He was skimboarding with his friends at Hammock Park Beach in Boynton when he had a terrible accident. Friends did not see what happened, but when they turned around, Cruise was face down in the water. He compacted his spine and is now paralyzed from the shoulders down.

Cruise does have medical insurance, but it won't cover expenses once he comes home from a special rehabilitation center in Atlanta, which should be sometime next month. If you would like to help, family and friends are holding a fundraiser this weekend.

This event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 21st from 2pm to 9pm at Bru's Room in Delray Beach and from 9pm to 2am at Delux in Delray Beach.

The daytime event at Bru's Room will consist of live bands and a silent auction. The evening event will consist of guest DJs and other fun activities.

The goal is to raise monies for Cruise Bogle and his family as they go through these trying times.

Anyone wanting to donate can do so by cash or check. Checks are to be made payable to: Timothy Bogle/The Benefit of Cruise Bogle.
