(WFLX) - Just when you thought this story couldn't get any stranger, another character in the octuplet's story surfaces.

A former boyfriend of Nadya Suleman now believes he is the father of the eight children. The man says he dated Suleman in the late 90s and donated multiple times to the sperm bank she used.

He says Suleman told him she had cancer and couldn't get pregnant on her own. The man, in his 20s, says even if they're not his children, he still wants to help Suleman raise them, because he doesn't believe she can do it on her own.

Suleman refuses to reveal the father.

Meanwhile, gossip Web site, Radar-Online.com, has posted a video of Suleman arguing with her mother on camera. The two had sat down for an interview last week, and that's when the fireworks erupted.

"They are human beings that are growing that are related to you that are healthy strong and almost four pounds," Nadya Suleman told her mother.

"They were frozen; you didn't have to do anything," her mother, Angela, responded.

"You use them or you destory them," said Suleman.

Her mother stated, "You had another option."

Suleman asked, "What's the other option?"

"Give them up for adoption," her mother said.

Suleman says adoption wasn't an option because she couldn't bear to have her own children running around not know who they were.
