Miami Marlins pitcher adopts puppy during MLB shutdown

Miami Marlins pitcher Dylan Lee adopted a puppy from Furry Friends Adoption Clinic and Ranch in Jupiter because he's stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Major League Baseball season is currently suspended until at least mid-May, officials said.

Lee said now is the best time to adopt a puppy because he's out of work for two months and he's able to be at home to train his new pet.
