PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - Neighbors from the Acreage hoping to get answers about a possible cancer cluster, leave without the information they wanted.

Palm Beach County Commissioner Jess Santamaria and acting Palm Beach County Health Department Director Dr. Alina Alonso spoke with concerned neighbors.

Dr. Alonso told them investigators are following state and federal guidelines to decide if this is in fact a cancer cluster. If that's the case, then they'll work to determine if there is a common cause. Next month Health Officials say we will know for sure if this is a cancer cluster, there will be another meeting on the 30th to give those concerned residents an update.

Meanwhile, we're learning some of the most visible people speaking out about the possible cluster have received death threats, there's also a growing number of people worried that talk of potential cancer clusters in their area will affect property values.

Right now, health experts want everyone to wait for next month's results before jumping to any conclusions.
