Deputies say they now have the driver who initially took off after hitting a bicyclist in Lake Worth.  It all happened near Bryant Park on Sunday.  The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office tells us the man was riding when a car made a right turn, hitting the cyclist.  A man jogging by was the first to see the victim.

"As a cyclist myself, who tries to ride responsibly," says Scott Stanley, "I would hope the cars would be aware that the cicyclists are riding 20 to 30 miles per hour and we can't just stop on a dime like that."

Other people riding the roads on bike say they see this kind of thing unfortunately happens all the time.  The victim was taken by helicopter to St. Mary's Medical Center.  His injuries do not appear life threatening.
