WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - Details of a major police sweep are expected to be revealed Thursday.
Multiple law enforcement agencies gathered at the South Florida Fairgrounds Wednesday.
Dozens of officers from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the U.S. Marshals Office, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Boynton Beach police joined forces.
Law enforcement officials said they rounded up people who were caught violating local, state and federal laws including gun and narcotics violations.
They targeted about 100 people.
The undercover operation had been in the works for about a year.
Some vehicles were brought to the fairgrounds to be searched and towed away.
