PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (WFLX) - This week's Duffy's High School MVP of the Week goes to Dwyer High School senior Bobby Puyol, quarterback/kicker.
Puyol has committed to University of Connecticut where he plans to not only play football but also study business. "I want to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company," said Puyol.
Puyol spent his summer giving back to his community. "I did an internship for Place of Hope for Christ Fellowship's orphanage," he said. "I was the business assistant."
Coach Jack Daniels nominated Puyol. "He's in our finance academy which is pretty presigious. He has a 3.8 grade point average, millions of community service hours, and is involved in his church and community" said Daniels. "He's someone you'd want your son to grow up to be like."
When asked why he loves the game of football, Puyol responded, "I'd probably wouldn't be the same person I am right now."
