BOCA RATON, FL (WFLX) - A Halloween show, nearly stopped by the city of Boca Raton, will go on as planned.

The city tried to prevent a group of volunteer teenagers from performing Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Officials said if it was done outside of producer Rick Newman's house, it would violate city rules.

Now, Newman has been told to not cancel plans for the performance.

Newman has set up a Halloween light and sound display outside his home for the last four years.
