Seminole Casino helps save the coconuts

COCONUT CREEK, FL (WFLX) - Seminole Casino Coconut Creek hosted their first ever Breast Cancer Awareness Blackjack Tournament.

Majic 102.7's Mindy Lang was on hand to play for Making Strides Against Cancer as well as Fox 29's Rachel Leigh who was playing for Think Pink Rocks.

Think Pink Rocks is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness about early detection of and genetic testing for breast cancer and to provide funding for screening, treatment and research.

Think Pink Rocks' fourth annual charity concert event featuring Flo Rida, Iyaz, Mann and DJ Cassidy, as well as recording artists from SRC Records/Universal, including Melanie Fiona, Ray J, and Shontelle. In addition, local American Idol Top 24 Semi-Finalist Brett Loewenstern will perform.  Terrence J of BET's "106 & Park" will host the event.

Proceeds will benefit:  Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, the Boca Raton Community Hospital Women's Center for Breast Care, and other breast cancer research charities.  Think Pink Rocks is presented by SRC Records/Universal.
