PSL Pizza Hut manager punched, robbed

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (WFLX) - Police in Port St. Lucie are looking for the person who punched a Pizza Hut manager in the face and stole a money bag.

Around 9:30, a clean-cut man approached the manager in the parking lot a Pizza Hut in the 10400 block of south US 1 in Port St. Lucie and asked him a question.

A half hour later, the manager came out of the store with the money bag in his hand.

As he was getting into his car the man who questioned him earlier came from around the back of the building and punched him the jaw, stole the bag, and ran off, according to police.

After a short chase, the suspected thief turned and threatened to shoot the manager if he didn't back off.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-8, 125 pounds with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt and black pants.
