FORT PIERCE, FL (WFLX) - A Fort Pierce high school teacher has been arrested for lewd or lascivious conduct with six teenage victims, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara.
Deputies say 68-year-old Dan Allen Hussan was arrested Friday morning following a three-week investigation, officials say. "St. Lucie County Sheriff's detectives, two of whom are also Deputy U.S. Marshals, arrested Dan Allen Hussan at his Vero Beach home this morning on the charges, which are second-degree felonies," Sheriff Mascara said.
He was booked into the Indian River County jail under $600,000 bond.
All of the illegal activity took place since last August, Sheriff Mascara said.
The victims were 14 and 15 years old.
After several victims described Hussan's behavior to a School Resource Deputy, detectives investigated.
Following the interview with Hussan, he was reassigned to the school's administrative office, and taken into custody.
According to the probable cause statement, Hussan's "conduct went well beyond a causal or friendly contact and was for a lewd and lascivious purpose."
