(WFLX) - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has just issued a regulation requiring all vehicles, including trucks and buses, to have rear-view visibility. Now, they will all be required to have rear-view cameras.

The rule, just issued, pushes back the timetable giving automakers until 2018.

Despite the delay, some automakers are getting ahead of the ruling by putting cameras on all their new models. Many offer cameras as standard or optional equipment even on their smallest, most economical cars.
