A young couple who recently moved from Palm Beach County was killed in Orlando in front of their young son and police are looking for help from the public.
On July 17th officers responded to a disturbance at the Eagle Reserve apartment complex.
Inside they found 26-year-old Renee Collins and her 25-year-old boyfriend Piterson Delhomme.
Police say their 2-year-old son PJ, who saw what happened, was not harmed.
"This is easily one of the most violent scenes that I have ever been to and it's made more horrific by the fact that PJ definitely saw what happened to his parents," Orlando police detective Michael Moreschi said.
Following the slaying, neighbors told WFTV.com that they heard what sounded like gunshots the night before.
Delhomme and Collins recently moved from Palm Beach County.
Collins worked as a service manager at a local Wells Fargo Bank, and Piterson worked two security jobs, authorities told WFTV.
Delhomme is scheduled to be buried this weekend.
Collins graduated from Royal Palm Beach High School and was buried last weekend.
"It was last Saturday morning and we went and I did not go up to the casket because I wanted to remember her as a vibrant, running all over the place, busy. I wanted to remember her that way," neighbor Paula Sanden said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
