SUBURBAN BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A 37-year-old man from suburban Lake Worth was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night.

Around 6:10 p.m., Luis M. Odar Jr. was heading west on Boynton Beach Boulevard, approaching the intersection of Pear Tree Circle.

A 2012 Kia Sorrento was traveling eastbound on Boynton Beach Boulevard, attempting to turn left and travel north onto Pear Tree Circle.

A Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report said as Odar Jr. entered the intersection, the Kia Sorrento continued to turn and travel north directly within the path of the motorcycle.

During the collision, the front of the motorcycle impacted the right rear corner of the Kia, causing it to overturn.

Odar Jr. was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and a passenger in the Kia were transported to Bethesda West Hospital with minor injuries.

The PBSO report does not state if charges will be filed.
