FHP cancels driver's license checkpoint that was scheduled for Feb. 2

The Florida Highway Patrol sent a news release Monday afternoon saying they have canceled the driver's license checkpoint that was scheduled for Feb. 2.

No other details were released by FHP.

The Florida Highway Patrol says it will conduct a driver's license checkpoint Tuesday on Boynton Beach Boulevard at the Florida Turnpike.

FHP says the checkpoints are effective at enforcing driver's license laws and are designed to ensure the protection of all drivers.
