Bicyclist killed on Indiantown Road in Jupiter

JUPITER, Fla. - A fatal crash involving a bicyclist is being investigated Tuesday morning on eastbound Indiantown Road near Central Boulevard in Jupiter.
Police said the wreck happened at about 6:30 a.m.
According to a written statement from Jupiter police, a man on a bike was attempting to cross Indiantown Road, traveling southbound from the northbound area of Central Boulevard. That's when he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Indiantown Road.
The bicyclist, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the investigation is currently active and ongoing.
